As most of you will most likely already know, Amanda Seyfried has a role in the new season of the revived television series Twin Peaks, where she takes on the role of the character Becky. As well as that, Amanda also has four new movies currently in production, as well as being attached to another new movie which is in development.
Fans of Amanda Seyfried can see the actress appearing on the big screen in the new movie The Clapper which is in post-production and is awaiting an official release date. Amanda will also be seen in the new film The Last Word, which is also in post-production and waiting for a release date. As well as that, Seyfried has a role in the new untitled Nash Edgerton project, which is expected some time in 2017, while the actress also appears in Anon, which is currently in the filming process.
As well as all of that, Amanda Seyfried has been linked to a role in the planned movie project College Republicans, which also has Daniel Radcliffe attached and is expected to begin shooting later in the year. College Republicans will be directed by John Krokidas, based on the screenplay developed by Wes Jones.
With all that said, we have to admit that we are most looking forward to seeing the return of Twin Peaks, which is expected to premiere on Showtime in April 2017. We cannot wait!

Get ready for a buddy dramedy that will feature two famous leading ladies instead of leading men. Silver screen legend Shirley MacLaine and the ever versatile Amanda Seyfried will star in The Last Word.
The Last Word will see one controlling woman (MacLaine) who wants to have a say in how the world sees her when she dies – she wants to writer her own obituary before she goes. To do so, she’s teamed up with a writer (Seyfried) at the local paper tasked with helping her. When the writer wants the full story though, the two wind up on a journey through the older woman’s life.
To be frank, the story actually sounds a little similar to a romantic comedy Seyfried starred in a few years ago titled Letters to Juliet, in which she ended up chasing down the story of a woman who left a love letter at Juliet’s wall in Italy. Though that film focused on the romance of it all, The Last Word will focus on the independent women instead. Mark Pellington, who will direct the film, said:
This is a funny, heartwarming and emotionally tender tale of life. It explores the true source of power for independent women, and is a riotous life affirming film about the lessons learned through time and the generational gifts that are bestowed.
Seyfried, who was just seen in Ted 2, can next be caught in Pan, in theaters in October. She’s also got Young Americans and Flying Horse to film over the next year. Likewise, MacLaine has Jim Button and Men of Granite up next, so it’s likely that we won’t see The Last Word head into production until some time in 2016.
